Hope for Rubirizi: Hon. Cadet Buturo Extends Food Relief to 700 Households After Hailstorm Disaster

RUBIRIZI, UGANDA – Over 700 households in Magambo Sub-county, Rubirizi District, have received emergency relief food from Hon. Cadet Benjamin Buturo, the NRM flagbearer for Bunyaruguru Constituency. The donation follows a devastating hailstorm that destroyed crops, homes, and property, leaving many families struggling to survive.Hon. Cadet Benjamin delivered one ton of posho, with each household receiving 10 kilograms to help address immediate food shortages. The relief effort covered several villages, including Kyema, Butoha, and Nyakihanda. Call for Continued Support:

Hon. Cadet Benjamin expressed sympathy to the victims and promised continued support. He appealed to the government to prioritize disaster-hit families in relief programs, stressing the need for stronger disaster response to protect families from prolonged hunger and suffering.
